Scratch Night Magazine

Cult Collective’s latest initiative is a publication featuring works of creative writing and visual art from Cult, Kilkenny and beyond.

Artists based anywhere in Ireland will be welcome to submit in one category only. Works as Gaeilge or in English, as well as works in translation will be accepted (as long as the latter works have the permission of the original authors).

All submissions must be the original work of the submitting artist, with absolutely no use of AI. The work must not have been published or shown publicly previously, including online or self-publication.

Simultaneous submissions will be considered, just let us know if they have been accepted elsewhere!

The technical stuff:

- Poetry: Up to 3 poems under 40 lines each may be submitted in a single document.
- Poetry with unusual formatting should preferably be submitted in a PDF. Otherwise .doc or .docx files.
- Prose: One piece up to 2,500 words may be submitted in a .doc, .docx or PDF file. There is no theme.
- Visual Art: Up to 5 images per submission, at 300dpi, preferably as a PNG.
- Comics: Short form comics up to 2 pages per submission. The publication will be A5.
